What’s up, everyone? I’m Sal Cincotta, and today we are not in some glamorous location. We’re in our garage, where we’ve taken just a small sliver of space, bought some Mylar from Amazon, and are using it to create this corner set. What we did next was crinkle Mylar all up to make it a little more interesting. Then, we are lighting this with just a few small lights from Nanlite.
Nanlite PavoTube II 6C's
These are the Nanlite PavoTube II 6C’s. They’re very inexpensive. These are in my kit at all times. They’re magnetic, so you can stick them anywhere, which is really practical when you’re working in different environments. Of course, you can put them on a light stand as well. They’re daylight-balanced tungsten and can go full RGB color gamut. I’ve got four of them in my bag. Nanlite’s always running sales – I think you can grab these for $79 or $89. Don’t quote me on it, but they’re definitely sub $100. Well worth having in your bag, and like I said, we have four of these today.
We’re working with Lauren behind us. We’re going to create some killer portraits in this tiny little space using some glorified tin foil. Let’s get to it!
Final Images
All right, everybody, that’s a wrap. How much fun was this shoot? We’re just standing in our garage, using some stuff from Amazon and really good lighting. So check out Nanlite, NanliteUS.com. I can’t recommend these lights enough. They’re not expensive and should be in your kit, in your bag. It’s the PavoTube II 6C. The “C” stands for their color unit, so you’ve got daylight-balanced tungsten and the full RGB gamut to do all sorts of cool stuff like this. Hopefully, this inspired you. Let us know in the comments which image was your favorite. We’ll see you in the next video!
