Jess Hess is a professional fine art and conceptual portrait photographer based out
of Dayton, Ohio. At her Wurmwood Photography studio, she blends vibrant colors and unnusual
ideas with classic portraiture for her own unique take on portrait photography. Her studio is located in a 200-year-old-church (called Castle Morningstar) situated in the middle of a graveyard, making her client experience unique from start to finish (and the clients even more unique!) She spends her spare time educating other photographers, renting out her space to local artists, making costumes and props, and hosting photographic events in the “castle.”
