Canon EOS R5 Review with Sal Cincotta

The Canon EOS R5 will without a doubt be revolutionary for Canon photographers around the world. While many will admit, it’s been a long time coming, Canon has come over the top with features that will benefit any and all photographers, videographers, and content creators alike.

We were one of the first photographers in the world to get our hands on the new Canon R5 and I can tell you we were immediately blown away with the improvements over the first mirrorless body – the Canon EOS R. When the R was first released, the market screamed foul at Canon for seemingly missing the mark and perhaps they did miss the mark, but only the mark of us highly insatiable photographers who expected perfection in the first mirrorless camera.

However, Canon listened to the market and not only delivered all the features we could have hoped for with things like high megapixel stills, dual memory card slots, uncropped 4k video, and FAST write speeds. They delivered on things we didn’t even know we wanted or needed. 8k RAW video, 4k 120fps, 422 codec and more. I mean, it is truly mind-blowing when you consider the leap they made from the EOS R to the new Canon EOS R5.

I am excited to share my experience with you and I hope you enjoy the results.
